HEM Business & Engineering School participated in the annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), held in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The 2023 EAIE Conference theme ‘Connecting currents’ celebrated the maritime history of Rotterdam where the river meets the sea. In similar ways, international education actively connects ‘currents’ of thought, areas of expertise, disciplines and cultures. From virtual learning to climate action, multilingualism to geopolitics, the currents we navigate as international educators are fast-moving and unpredictable, exciting and important.
By bringing together various cultures, nationalities, and professions in higher education, EAIE has, since its inception, established a platform to forge dynamic partnerships not only within higher education but also with stakeholders in the societies. EAIE is committed to actively facilitating the convergence of these individual threads of international education to celebrate diversity in this field, promote the exchange of knowledge, and prepare participants for the future.
More than 6700 participants from over 100 countries gathered at the conference. HEM, represented by Mrs. Bouchra BY, HEM GENERAL MANAGER - LASALLE COLLEGE GENERAL MANAGER & LCI MOROCCO GENERAL MANAGER, played an active role in this global event.
