With the celebration of 100th anniversary of the Triple Crown Accredited Antai College of Economics and Management, the 7th International Business School Shanghai Conference will welcome more than 250 deans and directors from leading business schools from October 21st to October 23th, 2018.
The event will welcome Leaders from Business Schools and Management Education Institutions around the world to promote the development of business education in China, Asia and globally.
Therefore, this year the IBSSC Conference will focus on “The Business School’s impact and change” and will respond to the following questions:
- How should we develop a mission-guided work agenda to increase business schools impact?
- What is the effect of the impact agenda on business schools?
- How it may, through its activities, bring real positive changes to the world?
These are questions that Business Schools around the world are engaged with, and that impel all our opportunities for future progress.
Dr, Ali Elquammah, The Co-Director of Academic Affairs and International Relations Director will represent HEM Business School and the Association of African Business School as its Chairman during this event.

The "Impact" is being more and more focused by business school standards of leading international accreditation systems such as AACSB, EFMD, AMBA etc. Why do those business education organizations value the business schools' impact as a significant sector of business education? How they assess the impact - on measurable outcomes? Are these methodologies effective in driving increasing relevant and powerful impact in not only academia, but in the corporate and social environments as well?
This session will invite leaders from recognized organizations in business education industry to share their viewpoints.
