HEM Foundation for the development of managerial education, culture and research

HEM, a committed institution

Founded in 1988 by Mr. Abdelali BENAMOUR, HEM is a private institution involved in training successful, change-driving future leaders imbued with a spirit of active citizenship.
Thus, the mission that HEM has taken upon itself is to train citizen leaders, stakeholders and contractors who are responsible and committed to the socio-economic development and the emergence of a successful, just and interdependent society.

HEM has worked in this direction since its creation, particularly through the establishment of a balanced Grande Ecole Program (BAC +5) combining, on the one hand, the development of professionalized skills of the learner and, on the other hand, the strengthening of his/her human, cultural and ethical aspects. 

The civic role of the school that HEM seeks to instill in its students is reflected also in the many public events it has organized for many years - including panel-conferences and “The Citizen’s University®” (series of free seminars open to the general public) - thus contributing to the dissemination of knowledge, enhancement of the spirit of openness and development of the culture of plurality.

Moreover, also in the same spirit, HEM has annually granted for over 10 years, three to four scholarships in the form of tuition waivers ranging from 25% to 50%. 

Finally, HEM’s commitment is also reflected in its research activities. It, in fact, contributes to the development of knowledge and is the first private institution of higher education in Morocco to have created, in 2007, its own research center, CESEM.
